    a raspy sound in the RPM band? All I know is that even with the BTC set at the 12 o'clock position, I hear this raspy-ness above 6K RPMs (I don't know of another way to describe it). So I don't believe what I'm hearing is detonation. I also was told recently that my AC belt is frayed because it's on the edge of one pulley. I wonder if this is the cause of the raspy-ness.

    What do you guys think?

    Sounds like an exhaust leak to me. Check the connection from the header to the cat, and the cat to exhaust.

    As the weather gets colder, more and more rattles and vibrations are appearing on my car.

    Depending on your weather, this could be the culprit.
